Encara que l&#8217;amon\u00edac \u00e9s un refrigerant excel\u00b7lent d&#8217;\u00fas general en aplicacions de refrigeraci\u00f3 industrial, de vegades hi ha certes limitacions per a la seva utilitzaci\u00f3 en \u00e0rees en qu\u00e8 la toxicitat o la inflamabilitat resulten problem\u00e0tiques.<\/p>\n<p>En obtenir el di\u00f2xid de carboni del medi ambient per utilitzar-lo en els processos refrigerants, es recicla el CO<sub>2<\/sub> que ja est\u00e0 a l&#8217;atmosfera tant de forma natural (pel proc\u00e9s de respiraci\u00f3 de tots els \u00e9ssers vius), com per l&#8217;acci\u00f3 de les ind\u00fastries (resultat de la crema de combustibles f\u00f2ssils).<\/p>\n<p>Aquesta acci\u00f3 permet revertir l&#8217;impacte ecol\u00f2gic sobre el planeta en prendre un dels principals gasos causants de l&#8217;efecte hivernacle, i reciclar-lo per benefici de la ind\u00fastria i de la humanitat.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c9s important destacar que actualment tots els refrigerants es comparen contra el CO<sub>2<\/sub> per veure els nivells, tant en la reducci\u00f3 de la capa d&#8217;oz\u00f3, com en el seu impacte en l&#8217;escalfament global.<\/p>\n<p>El gran desenvolupament tecnol\u00f2gic que ha facilitat la utilitzaci\u00f3 de noves tecnologies, i el canvi legislatiu (<strong>Reglament F-Gas<\/strong> juntament amb la taxes) que fomenta usos neutres amb el medi ambient i castiga pr\u00e0ctiques mediambientals perjudicials, han perm\u00e8s unir el <strong>respecte pel medi ambient<\/strong> amb l&#8217;<strong>efici\u00e8ncia energ\u00e8tica.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En el sector alimentari, la pres\u00e8ncia del CO<sub>2<\/sub>, amb les seves variants subcr\u00edtiques amb sistemes d&#8217;expansi\u00f3 a baixa temperatura i bombament a mitja temperatura, utilitzant un altre refrigerant (R134a, R290, R1270, R717, o b\u00e9 un sistema indirecte amb glicol, etc.) per condensar el CO<sub>2<\/sub>, i les seves variants cr\u00edtiques amb compressor en paral\u00b7lel, els pseudo-desrecalentadors d&#8217;aire, els pseudosubrefrigeradors, la incorporaci\u00f3 de ejectors que redueixen el nombre de compressors o la seva mida, es consolida i es postula com a soluci\u00f3 a llarg termini. Es superen d&#8217;aquesta manera les limitacions dels refrigerants actuals que fan malb\u00e9 el medi ambient alhora que es milloren les efici\u00e8ncies en les instal\u00b7lacions frigor\u00edfiques.<\/p>\n<p>A difer\u00e8ncia de la majoria de la resta de refrigerants, el CO<sub>2<\/sub> s\u2019utilitza en la pr\u00e0ctica en tres cicles de refrigeraci\u00f3 diferents:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Subcr\u00edtic (sistemes en cascada).<\/li>\n<li>Transcr\u00edtic (sistemes \u00fanicament amb CO<sub>2<\/sub>).<\/li>\n<li>Fluid secundari (el CO<sub>2<\/sub> s\u2019utilitza en forma de salmorra vol\u00e0til)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>La tecnologia emprada dep\u00e8n de l&#8217;aplicaci\u00f3 i de la ubicaci\u00f3 en la qual es pretengui instal\u00b7lar el sistema. Existeixen diferents aplicacions en qu\u00e8 l&#8217;\u00fas del CO<sub>2<\/sub> resulta atractiu i en qu\u00e8, de fet, ja es fa servir \u00e0mpliament en l&#8217;actualitat:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Refrigeraci\u00f3 industrial; el CO<sub>2<\/sub> s&#8217;usa generalment en combinaci\u00f3 amb amon\u00edac, ja sigui en sistemes en cascada o en forma de salmorra vol\u00e0til.<\/li>\n<li>Refrigeraci\u00f3 per als sectors de l&#8217;alimentaci\u00f3 i la distribuci\u00f3 minorista.<\/li>\n<li>Bombes de calor.<\/li>\n<li>Refrigeraci\u00f3 per a transport.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Els sistemes amb CO<sub>2<\/sub> tendeixen a ser m\u00e9s costosos que els sistemes convencionals, ja sigui a causa de les altes pressions (en sistemes transcr\u00edtics) o al seu major complexitat (en sistemes tant transcr\u00edtics com subcr\u00edtics). L&#8217;aparici\u00f3 dels <strong>sistemes booster<\/strong> sembla haver redu\u00eft la complexitat dels sistemes i, com que el nombre d&#8217;instal\u00b7lacions amb CO<sub>2<\/sub> ha augmentat, amb el temps s&#8217;ha demostrat que el seu cost s&#8217;aproxima al dels sistemes de refer\u00e8ncia amb <strong>refrigerants HFC<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A m\u00e9s, els grans sistemes amb CO<sub>2<\/sub>, sobretot en aplicacions de <strong>refrigeraci\u00f3 industrial<\/strong>, poden ser m\u00e9s econ\u00f2mics de construir que els sistemes hom\u00f2legs amb <strong>glicol,<\/strong> el que fa que els costos inicials i associats al cicle de vida siguin m\u00e9s baixos.<\/p>\n<p>Les principals avantatges obtinguts per la utilitzaci\u00f3 del CO<sub>2<\/sub> com a refrigerant es poden resumir en:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Subst\u00e0ncia natural, concentraci\u00f3 atmosf\u00e8rica en l&#8217;aire d&#8217;aproximadament el 0,04% (volum).<\/li>\n<li>Refrigerant classificat com no t\u00f2xic, i no inflamable.<\/li>\n<li>Els CFCs estan prohibits pel protocol de Kyoto pel seu alt ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential).<\/li>\n<li>Els HFCs tenen un ODP zero per\u00f2 un alt GWP (Global Warming Potential).<\/li>\n<li>CO<sub>2<\/sub> (i NH<sub>3<\/sub>) no tenen problemes amb ODP i GWP.<\/li>\n<li>Despr\u00e9s d&#8217;una fugida no contamina el producte.<\/li>\n<li>Alguns circuits en cascada millor COP que amb nom\u00e9s NH<sub>3<\/sub>.<\/li>\n<li>El mateix compressor d\u00f3na 8 vegades m\u00e9s capacitat.<\/li>\n<li>Di\u00e0metres de canonades d&#8217;aspiraci\u00f3 menors.<\/li>\n<li>Processos de refredament m\u00e9s eficients.<\/li>\n<li>Baix cost del refrigerant.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>ILERFRED<\/strong>, compromesos amb el medi ambient.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El di\u00f2xid de carboni (CO2) pertany al grup dels anomenats refrigerants naturals, juntament amb l&#8217;amon\u00edac (NH3), l&#8217;aigua i hidrocarburs com el prop\u00e0 i el but\u00e0, entre altres subst\u00e0ncies.
